Further north, near Lake Chelan, Twisp and Winthrop lies the  Methow River, located in the warm ranch lands of Northern Washington. And finally, the fast moving non-stop action of the White Salmon River in Southern Washington, just one hour from Portland Oregon, and within minutes of Hood River Oregon.

The Tieton white water river rafting trip swings into gear late August through the end of September. This is a dam controlled river, and offers up to 21 miles of action, warm water, and the fastest moving river in the state. The Tieton river is the best end of the season Whitewater run in Washington State. Great for the more adventuresome paddlers.

Northern Washington & Lake Chelan River Rafting Adventures

The Methow River Rafting trip, just north of the crystal blue waters of Lake Chelan, Twisp, and Winthrop, is a great way to enjoy a truly rustic Eastern Washington experience. Southern Washington & Hood River Oregon Whitewater River Rafting

The White Salmon river is one of Washington States crown jewels. Flowing directly out of Mt. Adams, it descends through a collapsed lava tube, and offers a very intimate, action packed trip. Get ready for twists, fast turns and plunges, as you snake your way along this hanging gardens paradise. Then hang on for "Husum Falls" - the tallest commercially raftable waterfall in the nation. The falls are optional, with an easy walk around them, and only runnable at specific water levels. With a Class V rating, they are fantastic! The White Salmon is Federally Protected as a "Wild & Scenic River", and is a great experience for intermediate to advance paddlers. Located one hour east of Portland Oregon, and just across the Columbia River from Hood River Oregon (Wind surfing capital of America).
