Yakima River Float Trip Driving Directions

The meeting place for our Yakima River trips is Big Pines Campgrounds along WA-821. You'll see our van just before the meet time.

Located off of WA-821, about 16 miles North of Yakima and 20 miles South of Ellensburg.

From Yakima, take I-82/US-97 N, and take exit 26 to WA-821 North. Follow WA-821 until mile marker 9. Big Pines Campgrounds is between marker 9 and 10.

From Ellensburg, take I-90 E and take exit 110 to I-82 E/US-97 S. Then take exit 3 and turn right onto Thrall Road. Turn left onto Canyon Road/WA-821. Follow WA-821 until mile marker 10. Big Pines Campgrounds is between marker 9 and 10.
