The Columbia Gorge's Best of Both Worlds!

Experience the best of the Columbia Gorge's wilderness and culture on our new White Salmon Whitewater and Wine Tours! Your adventure jump-starts right in the middle of the most challenging rapid, Top Drop. Unique, pool-and-drop rapids await, such as Corkscrew, Waterspout, and Stairstep Falls. The high basalt cliffs rise and fall along the banks, teeming with tiny wildflowers, lady-finger ferns, and lush vegetation. With the rocks and water so close, you will have a very intimate feeling towards this amazingly beautiful river just across the Columbia River gorge from Oregon. Our trip ends at Northwestern Lake Park, where you'll change into dry clothes, load up your plate at our Top Sirloin Steak BBQ -- Columbia River Gorge Vineyardswith corn on the cob, fresh salad, french bread and butter, and lemonade -- and relive your river rafting trip viewing photos from the day and laughing about the highlights of the day with your guides.

Oregon's Countryside Wineries

Back in Hood River, you'll set out into the countryside to explore local vineryards. The Columbia Gorge has over 25 wineries and an abundance of award winning wines to sample, and most Oregon wine producers are small, family-owned operations which produce a small number of cases.
