White Salmon River Rafting Trip Driving Directions

The meeting place for our White Salmon River trips is Northwestern Lake near the city of White Salmon, Washington. Meet us in the large dirt parking area near the lake – you’ll see our van just before the meet time.

Located off of WA-141 between mile markers 6 and 7, near White Salmon, Washington, about 9 miles north of Hood River, Oregon, and 6 miles south of BZ Corner, Washington.

From WA-141, turn left onto Northwestern Lake Rd. Cross over the bridge and turn left into the parking area for Northwestern Lake. We are set up in the back corner of the park, next to the big white cube van.

In addition to the directions on this page, we strongly suggest using a Washington State Highway Map, an Oregon State Highway Map, or this Google map.

NOTE: If using Google maps:

DO NOT look for SW Puckle Huddle Rd. There are no signs for it off WA-14. Instead turn right on WA-141 ALT.

DO NOT look for Nestor Peak Rd. There are no signs for it off WA-141. Instead turn left on Northwestern Lake Rd.

DO NOT take WA-14. There will be road construction through 2012 and delays could be more than 1-2 hours long. Instead the I-5 to I-84 rt is the fastest and easiest.
