Since there are few other obstructions on the river other than the occasional bridge pillar, the Wenatchee River is a very “forgiving” river and almost any age and ability has a blast here. In addition to rafting, the Wenatchee River area offers plenty of things to do and is home to the town of Leavenworth, an authentically recreated Bavarian Village that’s a favorite of visitors from all over the country.
