World Class White Wines

Glacier Peak Winery is a small vineyard that grows and ferments Pinot Noir, Agria, and Siegerrebe on site to produce about 750 cases per year, only available at the winery. Owners Stephen and Susan Olsen selected the location for the vineyard because the mountain valley has high heat units and the nearby Skagit River moderates the air temperature to minimize the risk of hard frost during the growing season. This unique micro-climate allows the Olsens to grow Pinot Noir on the West side of the Cascades and makes the Lower Skagit Valley the perfect climate for producing World-Class White Wines.

Blue Sky Outfitters' Famous Steak Barbecue
The Best Food

After the wine tasting, we'll heat up the grills. Always an important part of the trip, our food is one of the reasons our guests come back year after year! Enjoy our Top Sirloin Steak BBQ, fresh salad, corn on the cob, french bread, and lemonade. This will nicely complement some of the deeper red wines at Glacier Peak, like their fantastic Syrah. Enjoy the Skagit scenery as we do our classic barbecue! After your trip, extend your wine tasting adventure at other wineries in the area or at one of many wine tasting events.
