Our Skagit River trips are based on our Skagit River property, allowing us to have a private take-out for the Upper Skagit and a private put-in for the Lower Skagit. With this special access, we’re able to extend our trips. Our Skagit River trips are 20-50% longer than most other outfitters!

With Blue Sky Outfitters, you not only get one meal, but two! We know you’ll be working up an appetite on your trip so we don’t want you to go on an empty stomach. We serve a light lunch before our summer trips to give you the energy you need to get out there and play hard! And during the winter months, we serve hot chocolate onboard. Camping and Lodging All Right There

Our Skagit River property has camping available and a 4-room Guesthouse, allowing you to turn your rafting trip into a mini-vacation, all in one place. Rent a campsite or reserve a room in our Guesthouse and after your trip you can get toasty by the fire at camp or cozy up to the fireplace at the Guesthouse.

Wetsuits, Neoprene Booties, and Splash Jackets Included

There’s no additional charge for wetsuits, neoprene booties, or splash jackets – they’re provided free as part of the trip because we feel your comfort is important and you shouldn't have to pay more for it.

No Need to Reserve Your Wetsuit

We have everything you’ll need right there at the property. From children’s sizes to extra small adult to XXX King Long, we have a wetsuit that will fit. You don’t need to announce your measurements to the world (because none of us like to do that). When it’s time to get your wetsuit, just consult our own custom sizing chart at the Ranch and let us know the number of the suit you need. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to give us a call.

The quality of the gear you have out on the river directly corresponds to your comfort. We have high standards for our equipment. We keep our gear in good repair and are constantly purchasing new gear to replace anything worn. We don’t cut corners - it’s all about providing you with the best trip possible!

Full-Time Office Staff

Our office is staffed with friendly, knowledgeable personnel who would love to answer all your questions and help you plan your trip. During the peak season (May-September), we have extended hours and are staffed seven days a week. That means you can always give us a call, toll-free, for last-minute directions, questions, or to see if there’s open spaces left on a trip.
