Escape it All in the Rustic Methow Valley

Embarking from the town of Carlton deep within the valley, this trip will give you plenty of chances to relax on flatwater as well as get a little wet. It's a Class 1-2 float through the best stretches on the whole Methow river for spotting wildlife and some really fantastic views of the arid hillsides. A couple Class 2 rapids here and there will spice it up a little, as well as plenty of time to play games and have fun.

Back at the Lightning Pine RV Park, you can change into dry clothes while we heat up the grills. Always an important part of the trip, our food is one of the reasons our guests come back year after year! Enjoy our Top Sirloin Steak BBQ, fresh salad, corn on the cob, french bread, and lemonade to finish off your trip. This river is located right on the Cascade Loop, so you have the option of returning to the West side of the state on this very beautiful drive.
