What should I wear?
We recommend you bring along either a fleece or a windbreaker jacket - even if you think you won't need it, just hand it to your guide and he will store it in our drybags. Wear a bathing suit for under the wetsuit that is provided to you. Don't worry about shoes, we provide booties for your feet.

How many people fit in a raft?
All of our boats can seat 8 guests. On the White Salmon river we limit our rafts to just 6 guests.

What happens if I have 9 people in my group?
Simple - we will split your group in half. We will make sure that your boats stick together. We suggest bringing along a waterproof disposable camera so you may take pictures of your friends in the other boat. Also, it works great in case you want to start a water fight!

What comes with my BBQ?
Every white water trip with Blue Sky Outfitters comes with a top sirloin steak, potato salad, corn on the cob, French bread, and lemonade.

What happens if I don't eat meat?
We always have veggie burgers with us. Just let your cook know after the trip.

How large are your wetsuits?
Our wetsuits are unisex sizes, running from extra, extra small to 4X king long.

What do the different river classifications mean?
River classification means the degree of difficulty of rafting the river. The higher the rating, the more obstacles (such as rocks and trees) are in the river. It does not mean the waves will be higher. The Wenatchee and the Methow rivers are only class 3 but have the tallest rapids in the state.

How do I make a reservation?
Simply give us a call at 800-228-RAFT (7238) or make a reservation online. Let us know what day you are looking for and we will take you from there.

How do I pay?
We accept VISA, MasterCard, AMEX, or Discover over the phone or online. Also you may pay by check, cash or money order.

Can I just pay for my group on the day of the trip?
No. If you want to reserve your spots we ask that we get a 50% deposit per person when you choose your date. Final payments must be received no later than 2 weeks prior to your trip.

What if I want to raft today?
Simply give us a call at 800-228-RAFT and we will see if we have any last minute spots available.

Can I pick my guide?
Our guides love to be requested!!! Please let us know when you’re booking your trip that you would like to request someone. We will make every effort to get the guide you want for your trip.

May I tip my guide?
Tipping is optional but always appreciated. How much is up to you - most people tip between $10 and $20 per person in their group. More info on gratuities.
