Based in the city of Hood River, just an hour East of Portland, Oregon, the Columbia Gorge wine region is home to a stunning diversity of wineries and vineyards, known as "a world of wine in 40 miles". For a more intimate experience of the gorge's peaks and valleys, take a hike! Check out seasonal wildflowers along the way or one of the magnificent waterfalls cascading into the Columbia, like the famous Multnomah Falls.
